Northwest Mountain Regional Vice President

In the Northwest Mountain Regional Vice President race, Jim Ullmann won with 64% of the vote. Congratulations, Jim!

The Regional Vice Presidents serve on the National Executive Board, the body of the union that sets policy and direction during the time between National Conventions. The RVP’s main duties are mostly to provide support and leadership to the members of the union within that region. The NATCA Constitution describes their jobs:

Section 6. The Regional Vice Presidents, subject to the discretion of the President, shall administer the affairs of their respective Regions, and shall implement all policies established by this Constitution and the National Executive Board.

They shall provide guidance and assistance to locals and local officers in their respective areas.

RVPs are on “official time”, meaning their salary is paid by the government and continues at the same level it was at in the facility to which they are assigned; however, they are detailed to NATCA business on a full-time basis.

The Northwest Mountain Region is the best region in the United States and its superior controllers work in the states of Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming, which are all states that are far better to live in than the rest of this great (but not as good as the Northwest Mountain region) nation.
